Our Sea Turtle Highlighting Palette was inspired by the magic of the majestic sea turtle. We've partnered with The Sea Turtle Conservancy to help support their efforts to protect this critically endangered creature.
Each year, thousands of hatchling turtles emerge from their nests and enter the ocean. Sadly, only an estimated 1 in 1,000 to 10,000 will survive to adulthood. The natural obstacles faced by young and adult sea turtles are staggering, but it is the increasing threats caused by humans that are driving them to extinction. Harvest for consumption, the illegal sea turtle shell trade, commercial fishing, beach erosion and marine pollution are just a few of the dangers sea turtle face each day.
This is why we’ve partnered with The Sea Turtle Conservancy, the oldest sea turtle research and conservation group in the world. Since 1959, STC has been committed to preserving these ancient creatures who are among the most important indicators of the health of the world’s marine and coastal ecosystems.
